The police will typically come early in the morning to execute a search warrant—when you’re still in bed or eating breakfast with your family. They’ll knock or break the door down, putting everyone in handcuffs so they can search the property. They’ll ask you to come to their vehicle so they can serve the search warrant personally. Don’t agree to this. You don’t need to be personally served with the search warrant. All they are trying to do is get you to talk so you can be recorded. Don’t fall for it.
